Just moved over to an Ipod/Krell Kid front end and am having fun sticking all my CD's on to itunes. Confused though as to why importing CD's using Apple Lossless as opposed to the vanilla standard AAC doesn't take as long (you can write what I know about computers on the back of a shuffle!). That's just ignorance I'm sure. What I was hoping for opinions on though, are firstly is it possible to adjust the ultimate loudness. I've played with the volume lock and its off, but the maximum volume doesn't seem that high, certainly a fair bit less than my good lady's older nano. And secondly how much better are some of the aftermarket earphones for ipods and any recommendations please? Thanks JTB
