The contents of the various "temp" folders in windows? Is there anyhting that needs left in them or is it safe to just delete the entire contents?

I would say if you restart your computer and the tempory files are still there then they will be save to delete. Just make sure you have work saved etc.

I delete my tempory files without any problem.

Safe to delete. If in doubt with those things, delete them to the recycle bin and then leave them there for a day or two to see if anything is broken. Then just dump them permanently.

This will get rid of most of the stuff that is safe to get rid of without you having to hunt it all down.
