    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ATC-SCM-50-St...8626780QQihZ015QQcategoryZ14993QQcmdZViewItem

    Item number: 250258626780

This guy is selling a pair of ATC 50 passive BUT they don't look quite right. The tweeter looks a bit big. The mid range unit doesn't have the four screws to hold it like other 50's. Do the passive ones have a port...if so where are they on these ones?

It looks a bit suspect to me but then again I may be completely wrong!

I'm not an expert but could they be an older version ?

Ask the seller for the serial numbers and check with ATC.

The tweeter doesn't look like the current version or the previous, I don't know if there's a prior to the previous...

Three screws are correct for the mid.

I would expect a port and the cabinet isn't standard m SCM50 size.

Either very old or a DIY from ATC parts?

AFAIK Wilmslow Audio in the UK sold kits that were based on then-current ATC speaker models. Maybe this is a kit-50?

I think this is a kit. I have a pair of early 90's SCM50 active which have ports, 4 screws for the mid and the original smaller tweeter. I've asked the seller but heard nothing!

Does the seller live near the beach..those screws look rusty. The dark photos would make me suss from the start.
