Can't be Jez he's too young and too busy righting the wrongs of the hifi world, and stebbo is prolly too lazy.:D

Oh BTW I'm a salesman too nice to meet you (I sell medicine though) great "discussion" you and Bub are having. You are of course wrong most salsemen forget something or other and over the years learn to wing it or make up silly excuses eg, ballanced wires not long enough, so you can't be a salesman as you would know this, that makes bub wrong.:D

    LLet me see Paul,

Yes Jez is 12 going on 34, last time he visted Chez Wm, he brought his tweenies do Don Dokken tribute cd, wicked
    Stebbo is a lovely bloke.
Isn't Rob, he has class speakers
It's proberbly a rumbunkious flat earther, who's zit count hit 100, and is feeling a little self loathing and has out worn his welcome on the hoppiness of hook norton ale maybe
Last year, I had my childminders hat on and took Jez, to hear a very expensive £120K system, poor laddie, I had to use smelling salts to revive him after the intoxicating experiance :D
H'es never been the same since :)

To be Honest Paul, Me Bro's had one for a good six months, so I knew what I was getting.
I got a good deal on it lets say :)
Its a cracking player, but it only beat the Tweeked Wad in the middle (superb texture and dynamics), couldn't match the bass, which was surprising, and the Wad is seriously more open, plus Its a top loader.
Not quite what I was after, but a decent player all the same.
I may yet go back to a trans/dac 270 se + dac (but which one?)

Tony why do so many of you see toploader as being a disadvantage? I think mine is superb and don't have to worry about drawers sticking etc, mind you can't let kids in room with balls etc in case they drop on cdp, maybe i've just answered my question....

How's the amp BTW would live to hear it some day, I have a conference in warwick at begining of July are you anywhere near there (I'm scottish and my geopgraphy knowledge of england doesn't really go much below Manchester.) I may bring the car instead of flying, I could even bring JPS labs cable for you to evaluate if you haven't already.

Toploader, is impractical in my system for the same reason it is in many a system, space only.
The amp, is infact 2, mono blocks, which I may let be trying something a little different with them yet, a vastly improved main supply feed.
Your more than welcome for a listen, just drop me a PM nearer the Time.

I'd rather have a top loader, if there's one I like when the Densen dies [Electrocompaniet??] Its less to go wrong, and you can see if the lense is clean

Just thinking that the only time jez hears good sound is when his dad says "I'll give you a good sound thrashing and then its off to bed without any supper";)
