    can anyone recommend a decent isp....

    not bothered about broadband - just dialup :eek:

    I used to use freeuk.com for my dialup. Never really had any problems.

    Can't recommend onetel - may only be 1.5p/min, but connection was very poor (slow) and cut me off regularly (before the '2 hour' rule).

    Why not consider Broadband ? I've just got connected and it makes the net a different place. I went for one of the more expensive ISPs and it's only £10/month more than I was paying for Onetel's 'free' evening/weekend dial-up package

    I moved from AOL dial-up (home) and BT 512k (work) to PlusNet 2MB for £25 pm. Brilliant service and good support. Now looking to add SKYPE for very low cost phone calls via IP too. :)
