Well I've been spending ages recently adding all manor of issolation to my kit, however I think I'm missing the big one! Airbourne vibration. So who's got some designs to deal with this?

How about making the whole house into a huge vacuum and wearing a space suit with headphones in? ;)

It's a tricky one. Mass is the answer, as it will easily be transferred to a light panel that is undamped. Dynamat, breadroll, stuff like that on the panels of the kit. Other than that, couple it to a large mass (granite :D), and place that on something that will absorb vibration (sorbothane, inner tube, etc)

You risk making your hifi yawn inducing if you have too much damping going on, there's nothing wrong with a 'lively' room in many circumstances.
