3 singles so far and all have caught my attention.

I've been waiting for the album for a while and seems it's out on the 29th :)

Anyone else liking what he's doing?

One of the best new artists I've heard in a while.

Yeah, I've liked what I've heard so far as well, and it's not really the kind of music that usually floats my boat, although some of The Streets stuff is good. I think I heard Salvador on MTV2 first, and liked it a lot, plus all that's followed. I'll be getting the album when it comes out.

Conversely, of I suppose the same genre, Plan B is the biggest pile of shite I think I've ever heard (and that's no exaggeration, no sir :D )

    haha!

I caught a snippet of Plan B a while back which sounded interesting. After checking out some of his other stuff.... bleh. A couple of decent tunes and ideas, but nah.

Not sure where I first heard Jamie T, but I seen a performance on MTV I think too. Playing the acoustic bass.

He's presenting Zane Lowes show MOnday night which might be worth a listen.

saw plan B on jools holland, acoustic guitar with some light rap, quite unique, the album is just f-in and blinding dross.

Was a while ago that I looked, but he had quite a funky website. Some hints of good stuff, but came across as a bit wannabe gangsta! Maybe when he's a bit older he'll be MOre interesting.

It's Plan B's lyrics that really make me want to cringe, they're so bloody teenage, in that sulky attitude way, rather than a cheeky fun way like The View or whatever. But, they're also crap, it's not just the chav attitude, they're just rubbish.

I also saw him on a Zane Lowe show on MTV2 where he was part of a small group of 5 or so discussing the best albums of 2006, and to be honest he didn't seem to have formed any opinions on anything and was incapable of stringing a coherent sentence together - just sat slumped in a chair mumbling nonsense whenever prompted to speak. You could see by the look on the others faces that they had absolutely no interest in anything he had to say.

Mind you, he's managed to gain some attention and praise, so maybe I'm missing the point, it wouldn't be the first time! :)

Got Jamie T's album on Monday (bought as a pre-release order and delivered on the day of its official release, uncanny timing from CD WOW!).

Seems like a very good album so far, I like it, recommended, but don't buy it if you don't like swearing, as there's plenty of that (which means I won't get to listen to it very often, young kids in the hoose.....).

Send the kids out on the streets to sell crack and mug old women to give you some damn listening time!

    erm...

I bought it (along with the Klaxons and the Good, the Bad and the Queen album), for my brothers birthday. Not had a chance to listen yet though.
