has permantently joined UFO,and the tour dates are out for June (i'm going!)

and the new UFO cd "You Are Here",is the best rock cd for a long time,better than Darkness by a long way in my book

its a total suprise after the shyte with Schenker,they are truly on form after all these years

reports from Europe say the gigs are superb

 

UFO seem to be on form about 1/2 the time anyway??

What 'shyte with Shenker' have they had now? I know he was abducted by aliens during a tour of Japan in the 80s..

 

he walked off stage in Manchester about 3 years ago,effectively ending his love affair with UFO.They then eventually let the band carry on with the name,hence the "new" UFO

 

I had to check dave woods site, and it must have been Feb 19th 1998 I last saw them, cos it was Sheffield and it had Paul Raymond...

Aww, its only rock-n-roll. I bet they would take Mad Mike back any day. He's always been flakey. I've seen them 3 times so far, and they'll probably outlast me and Keith Richards. I've never seen that Vinnie Moore guy. Someone really should say he has a silly guitar. He should try a stallions todger, like Shenker, or something that looks like it's the right way up. And he looks as much like a rock star as Tonka chapman, or Frank Gambale in tights [or me..]

Still, I'm pleased they're still doing the business. If I feel the need, I might tap you for a media exchange sometime??

 

according to this months Classic Rock mag,Mogg will never take him back and anyway Schenker has waved goodbye to the name UFO,Mogg,Way and Parker have it

and of course the 2 new members

will be interesting to see if they do Rock Bottom
