Yesterday evening started my long Easter weekend (till Monday evening).
    First of all Happy Easter!

For this weekend I have decided today to do something special.
No listening to classical music, :chunder: , no playing around with gear :spank: but only listen to all those Jazz-CDs remained in my pipeline. :band:
So today it is time for:
    • Dave Brubeck Quartet: At Carnegie Hall, 1963 (2CDs)
    • Dave Brubeck Trio & Gerry Mulligan: Live at the Berlin Philarmonie (complete concert)
    • Oscar Peterson: Oscar in Paris
    • Chet Baker: Pro Defunctus
    • Chet Baker: Line For Lyons
    • Chet Baker: Love walked in
    • Chet Baker: Lullaby of the leaves
    • Chet Baker: Stella by starlight
    • Thelonious Monk: The complete riverside recordings

and then to the CDs recommended by Ian:
    • David S. Ware Quartett: Wisdom of uncertainty
    • Jarrett/Peacock/Motian: At the deer head inn
    • Albert Ayler: Nuits de la fondation Maeght
    • Waldron / Lacy / Avenel: One more time
    • Sun Ra: Jazz in silouhette
    • Steve Lacy 6: we see, the Thelonious Monk songbook
    • Evan Parker & Han Bennink: The grass is greener
    • Bley / E.Parker/Phillips: Time will tell
    • David S.Ware quartet: Corridors & parallels
    • Archie Shepp: Day dream
    • Art ensemble of Chicago: Rarum
    • Marilyn Crispell: For Coltrane
    • Roland Kirk: The inflated tear
    • Cecil Taylor: Nefertiti, The beatiful one has lome

Thanks Ian for these recommendations; we'll see which ones I will really enjoy.

    and now: ... lets start
    :MILD:

    About time! :)

I think you'll need more than a day to do justice to Monk's complete Riverside output, that's a lot of records (and I love em all).

Will bring even more stuff for you in June...
