Anybody heard his amps? Especially the Synergy pre?
Reason I ask is my Bow Warlock fell through ( ), but I've found a reasonably priced Synergy..
Looks the business - only minor problem is it's balanced only, which means I'd have to use an RCA-balanced xlr converter...
And what about LAMM? Worth it or just "American sounding" (whatever that means..)

sounded amazing with that amp in his room, frankly I would never have dreamed they{merlin VSM} were the same speakers .....they had the balls
and openess and extended bass That I never heard at my home

build is of the solid block of granite variety,If you buy it I,d love to know how it sounds

Aye - very nice looking kit..
But irrelevant to me as I found, and bought, a Bow Warlock SE today! Which is possibly even nicer looking - I'll hear if it's sound matches it's looks soon..

It's even better looking Leonard and that's all that counts :)

BTW the warlock has a nice laquer finish so no nasty fingerprints, after you fondle it :)

BTW, if anyone's interested in the Synergy pre it's £1900 at www.hifiguy.co.uk
Balanced only but they allegedly supply adapters.
