FS: JR150 speakers - famous LS3/5a clone

These really are quite special.

Based on the reknowned JR149, itself closely derived from the classic LS3/5a BBC monitor, and very similar sounding - but with much better dynamics, scale and bass.

Aluminium cylinders - 11 inches diameter, 21 inches tall. Very low colouration - but not for those who enjoy a relaxing doze when listening to music - these are fast and pacy!

Asking £340 - which is what I paid on eBay - a real bargain - they should have gone for much more, but that's eBay for you!

Good condition all round* - and excellent working order.

* One of the 4mm banana sockets is a bit loose, but works fine.

Foam grilles held on by Velcro strips - so they are easy to remove for best sound!







Collection from Gloucestershire, or may be able to meet up around Birmigham, Bristol, Cardiff ... that sort of thing. Or I'm going to the London Penta HiFi Show next Sunday ...
