Rosewood side cheeks. Boxed. Excellent condition- just a tiny bit of veneer that was scratched off by previous owner on top left corner. No particular reason for sale- just fancy a change. I'll probably regret it as i swear you wont' get better midrange and treble from a moving coil speaker system.
Come with grilles, box and instructions.

good luck with the sale. i have 920's, mrs johnh calls them the twin towers. i'm sure the 905's are great speakers - they must be good value wot with the franc being very low when they were exported.

you could of course hang on to them -

the 905s have a much better midrange than the 920s actually imo if the 920s are the floorstanders with the 8" woofer

just going to say if anyone wanted the Plinius amp and the speakers then would do them for £1000

Thanks for the great speakers Rory, am enjoying them thoroughly :D

Ditton will have a pair on sale, i can confidently say you wouldnt buy better midrange for £500-thats if he sells them at such a great price :p
Gorgeous speakers. Doesnt need expensive ancillaries to sound great-sounds fine with my cheapo marantz system :) and thats before any serious positioning etc am a very happy chap. I have decided to sell the mission m53's instead of my Tannoys now-the missions take up way to much space and with the largish JM labs now in the same room it is taking up abit too much space.
£250 for these powerful and fun floorstanders from mission (£550r.r.p)
too big+heavy to ship(25kg each) so probably best if buyer collects.
Will sound best in medium to large rooms, excellent bass extension not far off my Rel Strata III
beech finish-absolute A1 condition fully boxed+manualed, about a year old
excels with dance, hip hop and R n B music-vocals are clean, treble is detailed if a tad lively(but my marantz gear is quite bright anyway) will match up well with Arcam and other smooth sounding kit.
High sensitivity and easy to drive.
    Bargain
