Ashton and Stalybridge then. Uppermill and Saddleworth if they're paying you enough. Mind you there's some nice houses in Lees and Springhead.
Congrats. anyway. I think we should get a northern bakeoff going. Perhaps AT's mum'll let him out to play:D

Congratulations, well done! That's just the sort of news you need to set yourself up for a great bank holiday weekend. Go out and have a few :guiness: to celebrate!

    Nice one man

Oldhams not such a bad place, spent many a happy hour wandering about when I was at Oldham 6th Form (college). Has a nice town centre but can be a touch windy due to the fact it's stuck on top of a hill....

I will probably know the company actually, my Gran has lived there forever so I know it pretty well :)

    Cheers guys.

The company is Zetex Semiconductors. I will be accepting the offer.

I've been looking at where to live. Delph is a possibility, as are the places between Delph and Saddleworth. However, they're all category F for car insurance (which more than doubles my premium over the category A area where I live currently). Glossop and Holmfirth are category D so I may look there, although they're somewhat further away.

As for moving the hifi... about 150kg of supports to move, and then another 110kg or so of hifi...
