Shearne Audio Phase 1 pre amplifier. Overall cosmetic condition 8/10. Rare single-ended, cascode, capacitor coupled class A preamp designed by Tim de Paravicini, handbuilt by the senior engineer at Shearne. A very refined sounding box. Inputs: Phono (switchable MM/MC) / CD / Tuner / Aux / Tape 1 + 2 I've only used MM cartridges with this amp but the phono stage is very, very good. Power switch has standby to save a few kWh. Early model (serial number C0015) with black aerosoled casework! Blue marble effect fascia, chrome knobs. Bright blue LED. Tape out selector knob is loose, but otherwise the unit is faultless. Original selling price was £1500. A bargain now at £250 including insured delivery within mainland UK and PayPal fees. Can also be collected from Shropshire.
