    Hi,

Did any body see this.....JR getting Pasey Kensit to straddle him whist he lay prone...

.....even in is context of TV/fun/whatever I say it was totally out of order. :(

Comfirms my opinion of JR, though.

    Thoughts any one?

    D.

It was in poor taste but then that is JR humour I suppose. Patsy Kensit should have refused, that might have made JR look a bit silly. I don't watch much TV but I thought that JR also presented slightly more serious shows and does it quite well.

Yes, I think you're right, she should.

She just prob didn't feel able to though, as it would have been making an issue out of the situation.

No, I watch less and less TV myself .....as I'm increasingly underwelmed by a lot of it.

Don;t let the clipped accent fool ye. I'm pretty sure she's a game bird, arguably more game than JR.

Personally I quite often find his show very amusing but also find him pretty self-indulgent too.

On the other hand I think he's smarter and more interesting than that show demonstrates. His Japanorama series is very good IMO.

    Hi Greg,

I do enjoy some of JR's humour, in "They Think It's all Over" for example. I thought he made Patsy uncomfortable, perhaps I was wrong:). I know he presents more serious programs such as Japanorama you mentioned. Unfortunately I missed it simply because there is so much crap on TV that I no longer look for anything worth watching. My loss I guess.

Jonathan Ross has always been much funnier on the radio than on the telly IMO, his saturday morning radio 2 show is really funny, he's quick witted and very entertaining. Never been a fan of his on telly, although I think he's better nowadays than he was 10 years ago.

Saw the repeat tonight. I don't think there was anything wrong with it. A little OTT maybe but its TV. Jonathan Ross is an excellent presenter.. and Japanorama, saikou da! (when I catch it!)

Another thumbs up for JR (JW?) from me. Didn't see this episode but generally find him amusing and entertaining in MOst things I've seen him do.

I think JR has lost a bit of his edge in the last year or so.

Does anyone remember when he had Jim Carrey on the show a few years back...have never seen anything as funny in my life.

Maybe you should right a complaint letter to the BBC ?

That's the only way we'll get these disgusting individuals off the TV and get back to the great traditional comic talents like Russ Abbott, Jimmy Tarbuck and Les Dennis...

Wow! That really is missing the point by a spectacularly wide margin.

Perhaps, but JR's show is consistent. Anyone who doesn't like one episode can hardly be surprised by any other episode. Simple - change channels.
