I was listening to this guys rendition of Hand On Your Heart the other day. What a lovely song it is and he's really done well to pull it out of the fires of musical hell and revive it. I've not listened to anything else by him but I've heard good things about the album. Not that I imagine its much different to any of the other male singer/songwriters doing the rounds recently.

The other night though I was listening to Jose Feliciano and made me think is this Gonzalez fella just a Feliciano for a new generation? When you think about it its a pretty good formula. Cover versions of some great songs with a spanish guitar style added. Works for me anyway.

Bloody is different!! He's a proper bad ass guitarist and the song metering is fantastic. The album is really good.

If you do a forum search for him he's been mentioned a couple of times before....

As Anex says, the albums very good. Short enough to not get too samey and a real grower.

His version of Hand on your heart is also on the "Stay in the Shade" ep.

The guitar work is excellent. Less impressed by the vocals to be honest - I found them irritating after a bit.

That aka mo guy linked ot in my signature does of course do the whole acoustic/vocal thing better, but not everyone can be that good ;) :D

Can't wait for him to get some proper tunes up instead of just the deMO's!

    Why thank you kindly :)

However, as stated on the aka mo thread (http://zerogain.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11135) a while back. This is mo.... not MO ;)

I've got a few things of Devandra and like him.

Listening to the James Wilson tracks now and shall be requesting the deMO! Good idea that. We've took along a few demo's to gig's for people if they want them, and they tend to go quite well. Stick some contact details and such on there and they can keep track of what you're up to. As I said, they're rough deMO's on the two sites, but there's some "proper" recording being done.

I'll pass on your comments. Got a gig in a couple of hours!
