    Hi guys,

I should like to seek for your help on my KAV300I, I would appreciate your
giving me a help to advise for information I seek.

This unit give me a great pleasure to listen to music. May you enlighten me
about a 'pop' problem of this system.

I do experience speakers 'pop' sound while I am turn off and turn on with-in
5 to 10 min, I do secure the earth point of the system but the problem seem
    can't go away.

I do understand this system are design without speaker relay and speaker
protected with a pair of speaker fuse. So how it might a way to resolve this
    issue.

    Thank you
    Regards

    Han

    Hi Han.

Don't care about the "pop" sound ,at turn off and turn in ,because the methods to put a end at it , (as a output relay) will degrade sound quality.

That "pops" , if not to severe ,they have no consequences .

The "pop" only happens , when you turn off and turn on , with-in 5 to 10 min. because , in that short time , some caps will maintain some charge and when you turn on , the time constant that had been choosed by the designer , for the turn on , don't apply.

Are we really talking 5 to 10 minutes? You don't mean 5 to 10 seconds do you?

FWIW,the storage caps in the bigger Krells have sufficient storage to run the amps for several minutes with the mains removed, and as Tube_Dude rightly says, there will certainly be some charge present at 5-10 minutes.

I never had this problem with my 300i, something may have gone wrong... may be worth checking it out properly.
