I will be keeping my current automobile for the foreseeable future. it fits my needs perfectly so i see no need to change it.

yep...same here - despite it being a bit of a bucket - but it's just passed it's MOT...

well, I say it's a bucket - I had a pug 407 1.9 turbo diesel (with only 10k miles on the clock) as a hire car last week and that was something else...!
my primera is a bucket compared to that... :(

Same here... although I've only had it two and a half months... I kept my previous galant for 4 years and 1 week and this one addresses most of the things that were I changed for (more performance, quieter, more mpg, less rust, etc.)

Me neither. Couldn't afford to keep one anyway, at the moment. Go public transport!

if i could get away by just using my mtb then i'd be 'Getting rid of my old car' in very short order.
however in the interests of living envon-mentally i have repaired and renovated my old car rather than having 'bought a new car'.
yes the current car i've kept is a big old bus of an mpv but it's diesel and frequently has 3 or more people in it.
it would be nice to have the extra money of living without a car but then i'd also need to see a careers adviser as i'd need a new job - anyone know one.....

I will be keeping my current wife for the foreseeable future. While the prospect of a newer model with firmer bumpers is tempting, I would need a new job to cover the higher maintenance and servicing overhead, and the current one has now levelled out after the worst of the depreciation curve.

    take the michael... moi? :green:

sorry i think the new nomenclature is atb or plf or something.

my old wife was becoming troublesome so after a number of breakdowns i scrapped her (i believe someone else tried to do a restoration project using her as a base but failed miserably). after that i just did some test drives. recently took a short lease on a sporty little number however it turned out to be impractical and eventually broke down so am back to the test drive scenario or walking.
