Kef 200C Speaker

I'm on the lookout for a Kef 200C Center speaker to match my Ref 3.2's

I currently use a Silver XQ2C which is an amazing Center but is slightly too tall and now sits slightly higher than my new Tab tensioned screen.

Anyone fancy a straight swap, or does anyone have one knocking around in their loft unused ?

What sort of price you looking at? or might take a swap.

Speaker had very little use, as daughter came along soon after, so been boxed for last 18 months. Will get it out and send piccies if you want.

Sounds interesting. Not sure what these go for, but would be very interested in a swap. The XQ2C is an excellent Center and the 200C may even be a bit of a downgrade. There are a couple of cosmetic marks on it though. A small chip on top LHS of the speaker edge and a watermark on the front grill. I'm the origional owner and the speaker is still under Guarentee until april next year.







Can you confirm that the 200C is working 100% OK with no problems with drivers ect. Where abouts are you based BTW as normally prefer to collect than trust posties and suchlike to take care of items.

Will take a couple of days to get down, and test due to work commitments. Using meridian dsp at mo, but have a sony 777 packed away, so should be able to test. Based in Blackpool, so collection may be a problem.

Still on the lookout for a 200C or even a 202/2C if anyone has one that they want to sell on. Obviously at the going rate

I used to have a kef 200c centre but sold it and bought a xq2c which i found far better than the old 200c. I was using it with a set of kef r4s and inbuilt kef rears. Dont know if this will help or confuse.

Thanks for that - It's confirmed my fear that it may be a downgrade due to the smaller cabinet size and older design.

I've kind of set my heart on a 202/2C as this should be a step up from the XQ2C and also give me the cabinet size height that i require.
