KEF 107/2's? I'll forever associate these speakers with the branch of Laskeys which use to be in our local High Street, but has since long gone. Laskeys were part of the Comet chain IIRC, they stocked a lot of mid-fi separates, but the 107/2's were one of the few pieces of hi-end kit they had in our local store and which stuck out like a sore thumb among the mid ranking Missions, Jamos, etc of the day.

If I had the space to start up a speaker museum I'd kick off the collection with the top 3 KEF reference series speakers from that same period i.e. 104/2, 105/3 and 107/2.

you see them occasionally on ebay, along with b/w 801 not nautilus, they were competitors at that time for studios.
They use their own drive units, obselete now, but a tour de force, I dunno if I would like em myself, not heard em, well made.
