I have 2 of Russ Andrews's finest Kimber High Current PowerKords for sale.

Both are 6ft in length and terminated with (UK 3 pin) MK ToughPlug and Wattgate 320 IEC connectors.

Please note that these are the older style, but in external appearance only i.e. they have the tough plastic (but still flexible) outer jacket, whereas the newer style Kimber power leads as currently sold by Russ Andrews now have a more flexible woven outer jacket instead. Internal construction/materials and connectors are the same. These leads are now also know as “The Reference PowerKordâ€Â.

Original price was £170. Will accept £85 for each individually, or £150 for the pair (I'll also throw in UK postage P&P with both those price too).

If interested, send me a PM, or email: hchtang at hotmail.com

Cheers Henry, but I'm afraid 6ft is a bit long for my needs, so I'll give these a miss. I don't suppose you're going to have trouble selling them though.

Martain, why not make 2 then :) The only power chords I haven't been able to split are the Shunyata Noise reduction range (with the fesi balls) and the BMI Whales.
Just buy another Mk3 tuff plug and a marinco IEC, voila 2 power chords on the cheap :)

Hmmm... you are of course right WM. I even have a Wattgate 320 socket sitting around doing nothing... I'll think about it. I'm using CAD Conquerer leads at the moment:

and am wondering whether if might be worth giving one of Henry's a shot as a possible step up.

Right, the temptation's too much. I can always sell the cable on if I don't like it. Henry, I'll take one of your Powerkords off you for £75 if you still have them. Send me a PM with your address and I can post you a cheque.

    Hi Martin,

    You have PM! :)

There's plenty more, by Sunday I will have freed up some more Kimbers, so they'll be at least 2 more for sale even after the one I sell to you!

    Edited to add:

You should try the 6ft as is before cutting it up. When I first starting Kimbers power kords from RA, I initially bought 3 samples: 3ft, 5ft and 6ft. The 6ft stayed whlst the 3ft and 5ft ones got sent back to be upgraded to another 6ft and some money refunded for the difference. :MILD:

    Hi Henry,

I just tried to PM you but your mailbox appears to be full. I posted you off a cheque this morning, but will have to pm/e-mail you my address at some point as I didn't have time to put that in with the cheque :)

    Hi Martin,

Yes, sorry got your PM but thought I'd send a response on your return as I know you said you'd be away for a few days. How are you getting on?

I just posted off the very last Kimber this morning, so all gone now I'm afraid.

I do still have one more which I'm keeping for use on my tuner. Not in any rush to sell that one at the mo, but you never know! ;)

Have two 1m RA Yello PowerKords for sale shortly, not as good as the big Kimbers I've just got rid of, but maybe of interest to some and they're alot cheaper.

No problem; as I'd promised you some feedback I thought I'd check just you'd got it (I'm not sure how reliable the pm is over here yet). Your PowerKord is still doing it's stuff on my transport, and hopefully by the end of this week I'll have my new speaker cable, and so will be able to appreciate it even more  .

    Hi Martin,

PM's around here are 100% reliable, providing the recipient hasn't got a full mailbox, in which case it'll just get bounced and you'll receive an instant notification to say that that is the case.

What speaker cables have you bought BTW?
