This thread was formed whilst consuming a KitKat Chunky.
Despite the obviously somewhat dellusional opinions of some of you lot, the standard KitKat falls into Biscuit land, but the Chunky left me a little less convinced. I'd agree, the Chunky is a bit too much.

As for star bars, try Boost for a similar option. Not had a star bar for a lonnnnng time, but remember them being similar.

Despite the impression this thread possibly gives... I don't eat much chocolate, though do have "phases". Double Decker is currently hitting the spot.

Sprite is 7UP is it not? ;)

I thankfully live near a corner shop that stocks everything ever made. Starbars are still available!
I am at Fry's Turkish Delight at the moment though. Yum!

i'd have to agree with greg there - the interior of a boost bar is just not comaprable to the crunchy nummyness that is in the center of a star bar. for a while there was a peanut boost which was a decent stopgap if starbars were nowhere to be found but sadly they went the way of th dodo.
another rarely found choccy delicacy is the walnut whip - tescos used to do a 3 pack which was just right - enough to give you that walnutty hit but not enough to make you vomit.
current sweety of choice are 'a half' of snowies stick 'em in the fridge for an hour and scoff.
halva is gorgeous too but too faffy to eat and makes my teeth hurt...

yes but don;t they adulterate them by making the middle bit weird flavours or putting pecans or other nuts on top? all very well but the chocolate / froth / nut pinacle was hit first time by the wallnut whip.

also does any one remember the frys fruit flavoured fondant / dark choc bars? they still do the mentally sweet unflavoured ones and i think they do minty ones but the fruit ones were great not seen 'em in ages tho.

I concede your question, but personally i like the meddling they do. Two out of the three are v nice and one is superb, but I forget which one.

Only problem is a) I have to eat all three b) eating all three is very very bad

I'm in a state of shock. Pecan nuts. This is a complete outrage. Have they no decency?

MOre power to you MO. Although I'm taken by Wily (oo-er) and I like the second picture very much, victory has just been snatched from its grasp. So as not to ruin this MOving and MOnumental thread I shall leave you with these words:

'You can't top the taste of a twirl, you can't top it' - except you can.

Frankly the recently promoted Lindt Wafer captured my attention.

A shout out to the fairtrade chocolate with crisped rice from Coop.

What was the Nestle version called?

Or Nessles as it used to be known in the 70's.
