Hi, For sale is a Krell KPS 20i, one of the highest regarded CD players of its time. It became Stereophiles reference player for years after being given the highest score for a redbook player and was comparable to the much more expensive Mark Levinson No.30.5/31. http://www.stereophile.com/cdplayers/krell_kps-20iii_cd_player/index.html It was one of the few high end players to benefit from the highly acclaimed Philips CDM-9 Pro mechanism. These were only fitted to a select number of high end players and were the pinnacle of mechanisms at the time. Sadly they are no longer available which can be off putting for buying one of these players but i have a complete brand new tested CDM-9 Pro mechanism/laser spare which can be negotiated into the sale. I can source another if required. It has also recently had a full service by a local specialist to make sure it is in tip-top condition for any prospective buyer. It is in absolutely mint condition with no scratches/scuffs/dings whatsoever. The display is fully illuminated with no dead lines which some for sale today have. All lights are in 100% working condition. The drawer operates smoothly and instantly every time. All connections on the back are in excellent condition showing no sign of wear. Unit comes complete with spindle (clamp), power cable, original billet Krell remote, original Krell KPS20 series manual and original Krell KPS20i box/packaging which is also in mint condition. This is a great opportunity for someone to own one of the top 5 redbook players of all time. Very rarely do the come up for sale and especially in this condition. Only reason for selling is due to a move to a computer based system for convenience and i don't want to keep hold of such a high end redbook player which will be little used. Original retail was well over £10k and the only other one i know of for sale in the UK at the moment is £3.5k. £2200 with next day delivery within the UK fully insured.
