Large spikes required...

    ... like the ones used on PMC speaker stands, ie a long threaded black bolt that comes with two lock nuts - nothing fancy. But the threaded shaft must be LONG, enabling the bolt to protrude through a 20mm thick sheet. I don't want the type which is self tapping with a t-nut. The bolt must pass through the thick sheet, NOT screw into it.

    If I can't find what I want then I'll just get a regular long bolt sharpened at the end...

    That is about all the commercial ones are !

    my local fastener place does threaded rod to almost any length with the appropriate nuts washes etc ....if you need a contact let me know.
