In keeping with Valve amp manufacturing. We will be putting Nixie tubes in place of LED's on the front display of all our amps. What do you chaps think?

Personally the further away from LED's on hifi the better. Nixies are far for imfomative and pretty.

Are they very reliable? What will they display on your amp?

    There are 2 options.
    option 1:
with 1 nixie giving a warmup countdoun then acting as an input indicator.

    Option 2:
with 3 nixies using 1 as option 1 ant the other 2 a volume display showing 01-99.

we are just playing around with them at he moment. We have our old trusty development amp to put them in first before we put them in our commercial amps.

I will post a picture in the next day or so.
