    Who knows about these?

I heard the little ones this morning and was surprised at the sound they made, and more surprised that I liked it for solo piano and string 4tet.

    Romantic orchestra - forget it!

I listened to the floor standing Acoustic Xone.

    A really clear, precise sound.

I found that it was important to be in the right position though: They didn't fill the room, but shot the sound to a certain area. (This may not make much sense - trying to verbalise these things is rather new to me and I'm lacking the lingo).

I was listening with the Leema Pulse amp and Stream CD, and it all added up to a bit too much clarity for my liking, but I think that is the Leema sound.

I went with some other speakers, but really miss the clarity and control of the Leemas for bass. If I always listened to music from a certain position I think I'd have gone with the Xones and tried to balance them out with my other inputs.

Can you really have too much clarity?

I found it a bit intense, and felt like it would be a tiring listen over long periods.

If your source material is a bit dodgy then it really highlights all the problems too.

(Actually - Tenson - I mentioned a desire to be able to soften some things a bit in my PM to you - have you had a chance to look at it yet? Ta)
