linn akito arm , is it still usable?

    is that the bias dial on the front that has snapped off or just the arm rest?
    do you guys recon its salvagable?

    Hi Rob,

    The part that adjusts the bias is broken. This also has the arm rest and arm lift. There may be more damage internal. Not sure how much a repair would be or how bad it is damaged. You could always rebuild a bias system if repair is costly. Interesting project.

    its not my arm , its on e bay for just over 20 squids.
    im on the look out for a cheap sme arm for my thorens and noticed this one.
    pity the bias adjust is broken , if it was just the arm rest then maybee.

    Rob, Frankly I'd go with Gordon and SCIDB's considered opinion. Chuck it in the bin. If its sustained that kind of damage, lord knows what state the rest of its in.
