I've noticed (in particular from LordSummit's LP sale), that many of you here have some interest in electronic music. :MILD:

With that in mind, you may be interested to know that on Friday 14th November at Liphook, Hants, there will be an evening of live and improvised electronic music which should appeal to all fans of TD, Schulze, Ashra etc etc.

    Full details are here:

    http://www.hampshirejamjam.co.uk/

    4 hours+ of music for £10.

P.S - I have to declare self interest, I'm one of the players.....

Sounds great Seeker, would love to attend but I'm a bit far away :(

What is your own music like?

If you like electronica in all its forms I can recommend www.mpiii.com, a community that shares electronic music via downloads of live sets and unreleased dj sets of hundreds of artists. I joined a month ago and found loads of stuff worth downloading....

I'm one of the lucky ones who has had a ticket for the Saturday since they went on sale - will you be playing then as well? It's one hell of a drive for me so I'm staying locally, not sure if I can manage Friday as well, but would love to be there.
    Electronica and HiFi - great!

    I love it...

I absolutely love electronic music mainly by the likes of Eat Static. OK, they've had a couple of poor albums but by and large they produce some great stuff with the emphasis on UFO's and extraterrestrials.

Sounds good, though perhaps a wee bit too far to travel.

Have you a link to any of your own stuff Seeker?

All of Redshifts albums are fab. It's just a shame that some of them now cost serious moolah to get hold of on CD. I'm looking forward to Saturday as I'll get to see them perform live for the first time.

If all that classic Berlin School stuff does it for you (Moogs, Sequences and 'trons) then I strongly recommend the following:

Brendan Pollard - Flux Echoes, Expansion

Free System Projekt - Pointless Reminder, Atmospheric Conditions, Moyland, Protoavis, Gent and the new one, Narrow Lane (not out until 15/11 but will be a belter - I should know, I was at the concert)

Eppie E Hulshof - Besucher der Kosmos

And if you like something good, for free, go to:

    http://www.hashtronaut.net/hashtronaut/download/download.html

And follow the link under "Event One" to archive.org and download the full version. I think you may like it.

Will do Cheers. I'm also on the hunt for stuff by Ole Hojer Hansen if anyone has ideas. I have 'the dome' on cd but I used to have a few bits and bobs on cassette which have been worn out and dumped :( Classic EM stuff if I remember.

Maybe you need the special letter for google searching - here's one Ole Højer Hansen. Don't use it all at once ;)
