    I do,

and I took my boy (7) to see ''Sharks 3d" at the Science Museum IMAX cinema.

What a gobsmacking experience (for both of us).

The 3d rendering, sound (gut churning) the whole experience was amazing.

The show had my boy reaching out over the seats in front of him trying to touch the turtles that were hanging above the guy's seat 2 feet in front of us.

If your sole experience of 3d films is 'shark boy and lava girl'... not much can prepare you for this, nevermind your kids.

In his own words when I asked him if it was cool afterwards..

"that wasn't cool, it was fantastic!"

take a chance and take your kids there... (and don't even get me started on the science museum itself, possibly the best place to take kids in london ) .. with admission.... FREE!

It sounds great, Chris. Is it likely to be too scary for my 4 year old?

    Cheers
    Steve

I remember as a kid (1980's) going to the tv (?) museum at bradford and they had a 3d cinema there - I guess that wouldn't compare to todays stuff but that was amazing...
there was a scene in a jungle which was ace - but the part where one flew over the grand canyon - that had my stomach turning...!

The Tom Hanks produced NASA Moon landing film is worth seeing in 3D at an IMAX, as is The Polar Express, especially at Christmas (which also features Tom Hanks) .

All my kids loved the latter and my elder two loved the former (aged 3 - 10).
