    Folks,

This was something I wanted to suggest for quite a while, but kinda never got around.

I would propose a "ZG Off-Line" meeting for the London area on the evenings of the first thursday every month, however other days are fine, if anyone would like to propose any.

For the Summer/early Fall I would suggest the Old Thamesside In near Clink Street on the side of the Thames near London Bridge (where a lot of lines of traffic/travel can be caught), but counter proposals are welcome.

In the winter the Thamesside Inn is pretty quiet, so it may be worth keeping the meet there, but we can review the situation.

    Ciao T

    Folks,

For August the first Thursday is the 2nd, if that is agreeable.

The reasoning for Thursday evening is that it's in the week, does not interfere with Friday nights etc.

I'd also like to come along (it's on the way home!).
Am building up courage to start Aikido preamp (have beautiful PCB but slightly nervous about power supply) and would be grateful of a little help!

    Folks,

Time I'd say 18:30, which should give those of us who work/live a little further away enough time to get there.

And of course, all are welcome, if someone feels Londers on the Tent People (HiFiwigwwam) or Pinkfish would be interrested, invite them....

Hmmm, that's quite an early start. Will you be staying for a few hours? Might not be able to arrive until after 8.

It sounds quite good to me, if it is within walking distance of London Bridge station. But I can't stay all that late since it takes over an hour of traveling each way and I wouldn't like to leave it 'till the last train.

Simon, it's only once a month so if you miss the train my sofa, floor and spare duvet are at your service.

So, for the newby, are people wearing printed circuits in their buttonholes, or other means of identification?

Blue light on the head and a beautifully smooth glowing complexion are the things to look out for.

    Oh, and soft hands.

    Folks,

Confirmed, we will be starting 7:30 tomorrow, on the deck outside the Thamesside in. Whoever is there first, please grab a Table outside (lest it rains).... For everyone, look for a geezer who looks something like this:

That will be me, this week probably with 3 day beard.
