Quite. But most hifi is (at best) pretty utilitarian in appearance.

I bet you if Linn, Naim or similar employed a really good designer (that bloke who does the Apple stuff, for example) to rework the look of the little metal boxes, the things would fly off the shelves.....

Then again, maybe most people like nondescript metal boxes.

I once sneaked in the epos es22 floorstanders, wondering how they would go down, and was greated with delight that at last (after many many years of married life) eventually I had got rid of those ugly black stands ...

I know what you mean. I've never met a woman whose attitude to the male relationship with hifi went much beyond pity or resignation.

    All outstanding orders posted today.
Everyone who's expecting CDs should now have had a PM containing the total cost and confirming postage.
Please let me know if I have missed you out.

    Cheers

    That's good to hear.
Not only am I making a few bob to put towards the next upgrade, but I am spreading the joy of Bach. Do I get a medal?
As I type this, I am listening to Fournier's recording of the cello suites on DG (and bloody wonderful it is, too - especially after a couple of bottles of good Rioja.....)

    Cheers

I'd be interested in the Holst Planets if still available.

Do youy have a list of your other disks for sale in a file or elsewhere online?

    Regards

    John

    You have PM.

There will be more CDs (and LPs) for sale - I've just got too much happening to list them at the moment.

    Cheers
