I'm currently sat with two decks, and to be utterly honest there's bugger all to separate them, apart from the quality of the carts on them. They do the same bass, same treble, same tune and keep time remarkably well.

That being said I only have space for one of them and the Kuzma takes up less space, so it's staying. Selling the LP12 will also free up more cash for other projects, further mods.

    So here's the spec.
Plinth: stripped and waxed Afromosia, if you think you know what this wood looks like, you don't, this is beautifully figured and has a deep satin lustre.

Motor: brand spanking new just fitted original Linn part.

Motor controller: brand new, as in just opened the box today, Hercules. Motor and controller have been put on the scope and trimmed to within an inch of their life, rock solid speed, and quiet as could be.

Top plate: CNC machined carbon fibre and birch ply laminate, with motor in standard Linn position. Beautiful gloss finished, unmarked, and has had a marked effect on reducing transmitted motor noise to the stylus. (Please check diy thread on Pink Fish a couple of months back for measurements and details).

Lid: clear lid, one corner needs a polish to remove some swirls. This will be as new when cleaned up, no mark or cracks, hinges perfect.

Subchassis and bearing: none cirkus, glued & welded subchassis. Subchassis has been additionally damped. Recent Nirvana spring and grommets.

Tonearm: Mint condition Naim Aro on genuine LP12 Aro armboard, no marks, scuffs, scratches.

Cartridge: Troika, very late serial number model, details on request. In excellent condition, no sagging, perfect stylus and canti.

I'd like to see it go as one, then i can set it up for the purchaser to ensure their satisfaction, but I'd be willing to break it into 3 lots of,
    Cart-£300
    Arm and board- £750
Rest of deck and power supply-£500

OR £1450 for the lot.. Honestly, you need to hear it and see it if you are thinking of parting with serious money for an LP12. This will cost you less than Linn's new entry level deck- and it will slay it.

Awesome! Nice mods on the top plate, I'm just about to do something similar myself to mine.
Good luck with the sale mate.
