    Batman,

Have owned the 200's (short time) and had a long demo of the 300's, good bass weight & presence, build not too shabby, but the ribbon mids we too strident and the upper freqencies were some what forceful, didn't realy gel or intergrate for me
Though fans of classical music & snob jazz ;) should give em a listen, imaging was pretty good, open sounding with fair detail too. Didn't convince me that they got the match right, can be had for a bargin as JJ will deal with the devil for cold hard cash :)

    I quite liked them.

For the price you can get them at (as WM said) you get quite a box of drivers for the money.

Nice ribbon drivers, decent bass. Worth a listen.

Kind of engineered evenness to the sound to me, slightly ATC monitory. Thats good or bad (or Im wrong) depending how you feel.

Take a good selection of musical styles for a decent audition.

They are quite big of course.

They had some on at the Heathrow Show.

First time I've seen them and they were very nice.

    I've heard the 100s, 200s, 300s and 1000s..
Liked the 2 and 300s most - they played music best.
The 100s were a little limited in both bass and power handling, so of absolutely no use to me.. The 1000s were initially very impressive, but a touch harsh and with an incredibly narrow sweet spot - I don't think I'd pay nearly £18k for them!
But the 300s were the best - good bass extension, excellent midrange and imaging, and great looks. Worth having if you get the prototype - if JJ's still selling them off cheap!
