Here is a true eighties classic - the highly sought after Luxman MQ-3600 tube power amp, designed by Tim de Paravicini.

Modified to EL-34'S and GE 12BH7A's by Glenn Croft a few years back due to near extinction of original output valves and with ICW SSA coupling caps.

The electronics are in fine condition, having been recently checked over by Mr Croft, where a suppressor was replaced and the bias adjusted.

Groove Tubes throughout. It produces about 30-35 sweet watts in 4/8/16 ohms.

Great dynamics for an amp of this size with punchy bass and airy treble.

Cosmetically in good condition with light scratches, mainly to the cage, and a bit of residue from a peeled sticker.

It looks very handsome. Will post photos soon.

As you would expect from Luxman, it is built like a tank and weighs in at 16kg ...

I am not going to attempt to ship it; definitely collection in person only, from Highgate, North London.

Asking price is £1250 or very near offer.
