I am thinking about a new cartridge, I use an XV1-S at the moment and I like it very much, tried a Colibri, it was too fussy for me, I liked the ortofon A-90 we used this year at Munich, SPU's Miyabes and Shilabes are a bit too soft for my taste, do Lyra still lift the treble response?
Th manufacture of my tt always demonstrates with them, and the new ones even come with a we hole on top to help with overhang set-up.
But in the past I have heard them sound a little thin?
    Thanks in advance,Keith.

Never tried the top end models Keith but the Argo was a mixed bag. Used it on a Michell Orbe/SMEIV and Micro DDX1000/SMEIV.
Very dynamic and explicit, super clean at all times, excellent tracking but also very brightly lit. A very high contrast sound.

Good if you can balance-out the spotlight treble somewhere in the system.

Keith, they all go up like a rocket powered by Diet Coke and Mentos mints. 6db at 20khz in some cases. I'm sure the Titan isn't that bad though.

The A 90 appeals to me, but it's not exactly child friendly.

I hope to get an A-90 here ,we used it in Munich and it was good, wouldn't mind trying an XV1-T as well perhaps leave Lyra for the time being.
