No, not the BMW:(, but Dynaudios:).

Today, I had the good fortune to briefly listen to a pair of these driven by Chord amps in a recording studio. Ruthlessly revealing and proper bass control with great mids. What more can you want? The chat with the recording engineer was even more interesting. I won't mention his views on cables and support here as it might upset some people:).

P.S. also posted on the other forum.

I'm not sure I can mention it. I work for a music company.

Would you want to listen to them all day if they would work in your space?

LS, yes, but with the right music. With the wrong music, they may be painful:). I liked the fact that these speakers were just boring, nothing added or taken out (AFAICT and IMO). Some people would complain about a lack of bass, as they seem to lack bass on a quick listen. However, they only give that impression because there's little or no overhang (if that's the correct word).

    Anex,

If I had the room, the looks wouldn't bother me (I'll probably be certified by then:)).

OK, they're not gifted in the looks department.

That's kind of what I guessed. My problem with studio gear like that is many of my records and CD's aren't perfect, but I still like them. I wouldn't want their faults displayed in relief as it were. I bet they sound fabulous with the right material though

This isn't what accurate/studio speakers do. They don't "highlight" faults, but they will show them.
