Politely posted on Mana Forum asking if there was a problem on 17 September and my post/user details were quickly deleted. Tried PM's to JW and no response. I cannot now post or send PM's without being checked by a moderator!

Originally I did get through to Dave at Mana by phone but now I only ever get an answering machine. No response to phone calls and emails to JW or a recorded delivery letter to his home address. Others are in the same situation. Mana have all my contact details if they want to call.

Oh and I ordered ordinary steel so no need to wait for the non magnetic stainless steel.

Oh well, if they haven't gone bust yet, they surely will soon with all this negative publicity.

Sounds like old fashioned bad service rather than Mana going under. Does happen from time to time.

I've noticed the moderator's legendarily heavy hand of justice on the Mana forum a few times, so what you're saying doesn't really shock me.

Actually the last post I tried was simply asking where the best place to sell my unwanted Mana stands was. The post never appeared but the Mana moderator IanW did PM me here and emailed me with some suggestions. Seemed like a nice guy.

" Ian W is very nice"

Yes that is very true. In the main, most if not all, of the forum members were squabbling brats who fell out with each other almost weekly.

That forum was the worst thing that could have happened to Mana.

    Regards

    Mick

If anyone is interested in seeing the accounts PM me your email address and I'll send them to you. When all this 'idle speculation' started I was fortunate enough to recieve them, they're in the public domain should you know where to look.
Stephen can I remind you of the AUP regarding banned users. They are not to be discussed. Likewise issues from other forums. I don't want to have to close this thread, but if the AUP keeps being broken myself or one of the other moderators will.

As my offending post was but a quote from another earlier in this thread and my references were made to same, I suggest that the AUP rules were breached by the basis of my quote and not by my post pertaining to it. I thus politely suggest you deal with that basis.

PS: Learning to spell my name correctly requires little research beyond mere observation of the post itself and my username.

I think the closure of this thread would be scandalous and only benefit the company concerned.

I vote for no closure untill either Heuer has his rack and an apology or Mana has officially gone into receivership.

Simply delete posts from those who would seek it's closure.

We don't moderate lightly, and usually with a heavy heart. If members stick to the AUP we will have no cause to close the thread. I have attempted to contact JW myself to offer him the right of reply, if he so chooses he may do so. I have to say and I'm sorry to say as well because I wish no ill luck upon anybody that Mana does seem to be in serious trouble as a company. Barney if you seek out the relevant information upon this company you'll see what problems they currently face. You can't blame their current problems upon this forum. Sadly the hi-fi world is fickle and the next latest thing comes along, some companies are able to respond to this, some can't.
Sadly to take orders when you know you are unable to fulfill them is fraudulent, and if you review the information on the company that is in the public domain it is quite apparent that they will be unable to fulfill any orders made.
I started out on this thread concerned that scurrilous rumours would harm someone and their livelihood. I am now concerned that further people may lose their money. JW needs to face up to his responsibilities and either prove he can fulfill orders or enter into agreement with his creditors.
