Aw come on Markus! What's the internet for if we cannot vent our fury without the fear of recourse? ;-)

As for HiFi in general, A mate brought his 360 over the other night. Hi Def on a 7ft screen. Lost 6 hours in a trance. That's entertaining! I think I'll probably desert the sinking ship and find alternative persuits in the very near future.

That would seem likely on previous behaviour.
It seems rather disgusting that they are still willing to take orders (and presumably cash).

Yeah Michael, I guessed as much, but so many on that forum don't post anywhere else, perhaps it would be up long enough for a few to see it, or are their heads truly in the sand.

Sad that another British comapny gone to wall, they would have my sympathy, but pretending things are ok, when clealry they are not, is misleading, and fraudulent, I hope too may don't get their fingers burned.

If I was heur, Id agree to buy the ninja, and then go and pick it up, then I'd confront JW while I was there, and remove his LP12, he'd get balance of what I sold it for -£1000, plus costs. I'd take along a couple of large friends too, just for effect, no need for violence.

I agree that M ana's communication has been atrocious.

In the usual run of things, we will probably soon see a thread "M ana - the second coming" and it will be revealed that someone else has taken over the assets from JW. If he has sense, he will see to it that the new company quietly reaches an understanding with customers like Heuer.

oh, and just to add: from what I've read on the old M ana forum, JW should be able find some large and hairy friends of his own, should anybody want to actually pursue stupid ideas.

    Hi everyone,

Didn't know this thread existed until a few minutes ago.

These are the facts that I am aware of:

I am a moderator on the Mana forum.

I ordered some Mana speaker stands some time ago.

I was quite happy to wait as long as it took for my stands.

A little while ago I was told they were ready. So I collected them a week ago.

From what Heuer has said he got frustrated with the delays and after some dialogue didn't get his stands. The dialogue ended along with Heuer asking for his money back. He put the matter in the hands of his solicitors and thereby changed the rules of engagement.

Mana cannot comment (although maybe some legal expert can clarify this) on this as it is in the hands of the solicitors.

Purely an opinion: Difficult to see what continued discussion of this will achieve as Heuer needs to wait for the results of his court case.

Would some mod please get the word M ana off the censorship list? This thread looks totally ridiculous.

And in the meantime the company is wound up and Heuer doesn't have anyone to sue. Nice one.

Still I'm sure Inland Revenue will be interested to know you received your stands after the company put in for anullment.

Sorting his mates out in the meantime is he? I do hope he doesn't try to reappear in the hifi industry a I am sure there will be a hell of a lot of baggage.

but there is a proposal to strike off the company from companies house, which cannot be ignored.

it is in fact easy to see what continued discussion of this will achieve: it might stop somebody else from getting ripped off by this 'businessman'.

I was expecting you to say something like that.

In answer, who knows. I waited a long time. Can't remember when I ordered them and don't know when they were finished. I picked them up when it was convenient for me.

Bull. Of course they can. And from what I see of the case, the outcome is a foregone conclusion, assuming Heuer has observed the formalities.

    Markus,

    "Bull. Of course they can."

Thanks for the correction. In that case I don't have anything of relevance to add.
