I went a show recently in Manc - is this the same setup? The last one was at a hotel at the end of Deansgate, can't remember the name, could be the same place.

and remember to take your own CDs ;) - the music last time was rubbish.

    Hi,

I think the one at Deansgate was the Practical HifI show. This one was last at one of the hotels at Manchester Airport in OCT 2002.

I always take my own cds & LPs. :MILD:

Is this one normally better than the practical HIFI one? I pay a visit to it.

I thought the Practical Hifi show was pretty good. First hifi show I've been to though, so I've nothing to compare it to... Not quite the Motorbike Show at the NEC.

The problem was the rooms were too small and the acoustics just didn't work. Hopefully the rooms are bigger at this do. And the jazz.z....z.zz.z.zzzzzzzzzz

My company is exhibiting at the show, so I can get hold of the Priviledge tickets in advance if anyone is interested. :D

If the mods allow, then just drop me a PM message with your real name and address. My office will post them out a week before the show. :)

    Regards

I wouldn't recommend turning up on a weekday - there'll be no one there!! ;)

The show is only on Saturday and Sunday. You can use the tickets either day. The priviledge tickets get you in to the show plus the two mags free plus the 14 track Naim sampler CD plus the 24 page colour show guide all for a reduced entry fee of £5. You need to have one ticket per person.

Priviledge tickets posted to you FOC. :D

    Edit:
To all Please remember to say how many tickets you need. :)

I'll confirm receipt of you message and reply to your request via a pm.

Bel Canto - Una bella esperienza o purtroppo un soffrire?

I'll be going up with some of the crew on the Saturday… I owe it to myself to hear Bel Canto since WM has been going on about it… of course an unbiased report of my experience will follow ;)

    'Well sung'; ones hopes...

    Marco.
