I bought this last year and to be honest, haven't given it much of a play. Was listening to Sailing to Philidelphia earlier tonight and thought I'd give it a spin and some of the tracks are really starting to grow on me. Highlights:

    - Boom, like that
    - Postcards from Paraguay (has a South American feel to it)

I would like to give this one a try (if its on vinyl), heard some of the tracks on the radio ages ago. Never been over impressed with Knopfler's solo work in the past, perhaps thats why I have not made the effort to seek it out.

'Back to Tupelo' is my favourite on Shangri La. I think I prefer his Ragpicker's Dream album though.

They are both pretty good though and the production as ever with Knopfler is first class.
