Martin Logan - CLS

    Has anybody heard the original Martin Logan CLS? - any thoughts or advice?

    I have the chance to buy a pair, they are in top class condition, they have had replacemment panels fitted two years ago by the importer.

    The electronics have the up to date serial numbers.

    Any comments at £1000.00 delivered to the door.

    I run ML Aerius i's so I might be biased, but by all acounts the CLS really do the biz. I have only heard them myself once in a crowded demo at a show but they still sounded good. I would not think they would be much use for thrash rock ,but then not many things are. If your into pinpoint imagery and dynamics you could be onto a winner. the price looks pretty good too, if there not ancient.

    A pretty vicious load. Successful installations were in medium-sized rooms with high-power tube electronics, IIRC. The price is attractive.
