For sale is an MBL 1531 CD player in absolutely MINT condition - not a single scratch or blemish. It could easly pass as new. It is one year old.

This player replaced the much loved Audio Aero mk II Signature in my system. Before getting it, I also tried in my system the AA Capitole Reference (both regular and Signature), AA SACD Prestige and EMM Labs CDSD/DCC2 combo (non SE models).

I finally settled on MBL since it offered the best all around performance. The EMM may have been slightly smoother and more extended on top (it should have, at 12.000 EUR premium), but MBL had more solid bass and much better PRAT. Not to mention that the build quality is second to none (if EMM is cheap Chrysler with parts falling apart, AA is Renault Laguna, then MBL is build like Merc S-Class).

    Color: black.

I have all the original packaging and accessories that came with the unit. The remote control that came with the unit (heavy piece of aluminium) was NEVER used, so it is also MINT.

Please refer to the MBL web site for detailed specs and feel free to email me with questions.

Selling to upgrade to 1511/1521 combo.

Price is 6500 USD or 4600 EUR.

Shipping within the EU (including UK) should be around 100-150 EUR (ask for quote).
