    Hello.
I have a project 2 xperience TT/9c arm feeding into a Graham Slee GramAmp2 communicator Phono stage.
I am currently using a NOS Grado "GF3 Super" MI cart but wanted to experiment with some MC Low Output designs.

I'm looking for either a set of Ortofon T-5's or Sony HA-T10's to allow me to still use my existing Graham Slee (based on the rough price range of these components, I didn't want to spend £500ish on the Elevator).

Any idea where I could get them from / if they're still made?

    Thanx for any help

    Hi,

I don't think the T-5 step up is made any more. A cheap new step is this one that Noteworthy sell for £200.

    http://www.noteworthyaudio.co.uk/StepUps.html

Audio note do them for under £500. You may be able to pick up a Audio Innovations step up 2nd hand for around £100 upwards.

I have seen EAR step ups go for around £350 to £400.

    Also there is this one

There are a number of companies who sell transformers for you to diy your own.

    Thanx for the info guys.

Am currently tracking a few things on e-bay. There's a Denon AU300LC from the states for £75ish.

Also those ortofons T-5 and another called kent / kerry. As well as some sony ha-t10's from canada and an ortofon ?200. Also a UK made battery powered one for £50 (buy-it-now) Pickering

I'll just see how these all go (they should all finish in coupla days).

So I should hopefully have something soon :D

PS i was looking at the Denon DL103, 40 Ohms, should go well with most step ups?

PPS if I don't have much luck with flea-bay, I have recieved an offer on a pair of T5's.....Decca I'm also interested in the T20, and could you pm me a price please? cheers

The Denon really likes 100ohms, if you want to use an MC get rid of the Gram amp, and buy something like the Dino, then you can hear them at their best.
