    no not me. however i've seen some cool stuff like it when i go for my daily bike rides. there's an area in the village where i live that's set aside for r/c aircraft practice. some of the stuff the r/c helicopters get up to is amazing.

    It's very, very impressive. One of the things most people don't realise about controlling RC planes, helicopters, even cars is that it's in many ways much more tricky than the real thing because you have to constantly put yourself in point of view of the thing being controlled. eg, when the plane is flying away from you in a straight line it's easy, move left makes it move to your left but if it's coming towards you then move left makes it move to your right...put that all into three dimensions and it starts to get very tricky.

    2 things impressed me - the skill of the flier, and the precision of the plane itself to respond and be flown with such accuracy (like where it hovers motionless)
