Gotta be the Spitfire.

Im lucky, where i live we have 2 of the remaining flying Spitfires at an airfeild less than 1 mile away. One owned by Rolls Royce, the other by BAE.

The BAE is an early model, lovely sounding merlin engine, the Rolls one is later and has the twin super charged merlin, early one still sounds better
