Wm's personal pair of 'Real speakers' may well become available very shortly
These are quite simply the most musical & dynamic speakers I've heard in the £3-5K range, the do Bass/slam/texture/timing and ultra tight with ambienece and delicies, open and grit free top end, with bite and life, mid range to smile for :) they are transparent as to let through, what ever your front end can muster.
They are the Hot rod versions, in Light Ash, are in excellent condition, further enhanced by the addition of Bybee Quantum filters (4 off)
Only ever had 'Quality watts travelling throught them'
How do they sound, superb, any one who has heard them will tell you
The weight 28Kg's fantastic construction, 1" thick, solid
Have dual cardas gold binding posts.
These babies are great with tube amps 2 8 ohm load 89 db
    Thanks for looking

Please PM if Seriously intereseted, Demo no probs

They do sound fantastic. The first pair of meadowlarks I heard, and they persuaded me to spend my own money on a pair of kestrel hotrods (the model down in the range at the time). I'd buy these if I had the money, and the amp to drive them, etc....

Mo, you quite right I forgot to price them, silly me :D
    Ok retail was £3000
With the cost of the Bybee's another £300, I'll entertain offers around £1400 ono mark, thats a bit of bargin, when you consider what the beautifully crafted speakers can do. :) Wm

I've just mentioned these to someone on WHF forum looking for speakers upto 2.5K. He uses NuVista amp and cd. :p

the guy may very well read this and take it to mean something else! He may not be aware of WMs views on nuvista. I wonder how the combo would work. I did of course tell him you'd be willing to deMO.

Good question MO, never tried with M/F stuff, although its lightening fast bass should help with m/f's timing problem, they can handle big power too, real music makers with poise. Wm

That strikes me as a very diplomatic response. :)

well the thread over on WHF is still showing no replies. Posts sometimes disapear over there, but i've tried posting 3 times to the guy now and not showing up still!!! No way of contacting the MOderators (or replying through pm) on there, so I dunno  Started another thread asking if the MOderator was for some reason not allowing my post through (ALL posts are MOderated before appearing), but guess what........... that's not shown up either. Oh well.
