    Thanks, Isaac, is this the place they have previously gone cheap?

    and any idea if they are the mk1s or 2s?

    finally ,what's the best price for a mk2 you have seen?

    mk 1. There is no hot-rod variant of the Kestrel 2. This is where I got my mk 1 hot-rods for.

    I've not seen any kestrel 2s here, but I would imagine them to have an rrp of £1999, so you're going to pay a whole heap more. The mk 1 hotrod will go a bit deeper into the bass, but the mk 2 is more open.

    For £500, I don't think that the kestrel hotrods can be beaten. Even at £1k I think it would be hard...
