    Any takers over here?

    Hi,
I'm off on my hols in augs.... coiuld do witha bit more space for memory for a nikon 5700.

The handbook recommends a maximum of 1gig micro drive....sandisk...which I can't get easily.

Wouild there be any problem with higher memories such as 2 gig, 4 gig etc which are actualy easier to source than the 1 gig ones?

Any other recoomendations....it isn't fast to write to the card......old technology and all that.

    tia

I'd go for the bigger ones if you had a modern camera as you tend to get better deals, but beware if you camera is old then they may only be able to see a percentage of it... i.e. you buy a 8gb card and you may only be able to use 4gb...

looks like your camera can only handle 1gb ones tho...

yeah, thats a wise move - also, don't buy them from fleabay - there are loads of fakes out there...

while you probably wouldn't have any issues with most of them (?) - some are built so that on their second use they fail...

I've got most of my cards from play.com after having picked up some fakes off of ebay.

    AVOID THE SELLER E-CELL!!!

Re Amazon as long as they are supplied by Amazon and not a re-seller in their market place then you should be fine.

The market place is similar to fleabay - buyer beware
