Meridian DSP6000 Digital Active Speakers

    I came across a pair of these midweek whilst on my travels the spec's on these sound very interesting and the the quaility of the units looked fantastic anybody heard or know of them ?

    Possibly my all-time favourite speakers. :)

    I admit that the DSP8000's are better but they cost £26000 against the £11000 (IIRC) for the 6000's and they're not £15000-worth better!

    The 8000's are uglier, too...............:D

    I thought about your speaker plans Simon........these seem exactly what you had in mind even have EQ available I think
    BTW
    I've given A copy of the floorstander speaker plans to a carpenter I found in Gillingham awaiting the quote with interest
    chosen a nice birdseye maple veneer....... Wife has the given the thumbs up
