Sky News are reporting that he has died of a heart attack this evening in LA.

I'm not his biggest fan, in fact I can count the number of his songs that I like on 1 hand. Still, a big loss to the music industry and to his fans all over the world. I'm sure there will be a multitude of jokes about his passing (some of which will no doubt be quite sick), but for his families sake I hope they get some privacy at this time.

    Michael Jackson.
Not a keen fan of his late years. Thought he was very good in his Teen years. TO young to die had a very
troubled life Rest In Peace Michael.

I saw MJ in concert a couple of times during the 80s, including the Bad tour. So right at his peak. At that time he was an amazing performer... and his show was a real adrenaline rush. Agree his earlier stuff was probably his best (Off the Wall, Thriller), but he did produce some other great music along the way (Dangerous, History)... Not that many know, but he was also a supporter of Hi Fi, having a special relationship with Electrocompaniet. They would often were credited on the back of his album covers. Shame it all went a bit off the rails for him and that this should happen just before his O2 tour. Lastly it is worth remembering that MJ's passion was our passion, music!!! RIP.

MJ was an electrocompaniet fan! Crikey you learn summat new everyday. Did he really credit them on his album covers? Any proof? (I am indeed a former electrocomp owner)

Apparently he wasn't found dead from a heart attack, he died from a stroke in the children's ward...

Michael Jackson's estate has requested that he be buried at sea - strapped between two bouys.

Apparently the hospital staff don't know what to do with the body as plastic recycling isn't until Tuesday.

What's the difference between Alex Ferguson and Michael Jackson? Sir Alex will be playing Giggs this year.

I shall refrain from making jokes as a mark of respect. Like or not he was a real person (proven by the fact he died in a very humble way) with real family and real friends. I have never been a fan but he was very talented as a performer and song writer.

I've heard that Michael Jackson is not going to be buried but will instead be recycled as carrier bags - white, plastic and dangerous for small children to play with.

    also:

Michael Jackson’s official cause of death: “The Boogie”. The Sunshine, Moonlight and the Good Times were released after extensive questioning showed they could not be blamed.

Michael Jacksons death is so tragic, he touched so many children in so many special ways.

What’s the difference between MJ and a Disney Film? Disney films can still touch kids

Michael Jackson’s upcoming London dates have been cancelled.
They were James (aged 9) and Thomas (aged 11)

Michael Jackson hasn’t been this stiff since Macaully Culkin last spent a night at the neverland ranch

Like Michael Jackson always said. “Live fast, die young, leave a vaguely vietnamese looking woman’s corpse”

Like any person, Michael Jackson was a mixture of good and bad. Many of his critics haven't produced one successful song, let alone the string of hits that he did.

The adolescent and puerile comments from sq225917, IAmBoY and lbr show that they have no style and no dignity.

    Please just go away.

Ah I get it, as he is now dead it no longer matters that he was a peado.

    Cracking first post.

    Just go away.

There were allegations that Michael Jackson was a paedophile, but he was never convicted of any offence. How can you claim so definitely that he was a “peado

It is nice to see such eloquent and well argued replies from lbr and IAmBoY, but at least they haven't posted any more pathetic attempts at humour.

Michael Jackson's music has bought much pleasure to millions of people, judging by his record sales. To denigrate him so soon after his death is both sad and pathetic.

I suspect the $2 million pay off may have help to alleviate the accusations.

If you don't like what is being said why did you join the forum?

At least lbr and IAmBoY say what they feel and don't cry crocodile tears.

A mans morals can not be judged by his musical ability.

He was denigrated plentifuly while still alive, so no change there really.

    At your service, madam.

mmm, I think you've spoken too soon there...

Rest in peace and Farewell Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.
In your own way, each one of you helped young boys masturbate.
